This concluding installment of the celebrity version of The Traitors was mistakenly made available by overseas distributors before its scheduled UK airing on Thursday, as confirmed a network statement.
Reports indicate that the finale was viewed by a small number of subscribers of the online platform Crave in Canada; they could view it for a couple of hours until it was taken down.
This episode being uploaded was not considered a mistake by the producing network, and a spokesperson for the corporation asked those who believe they know the outcome of the show to "avoid sharing any reveals".
"We kindly ask anyone who believes they have uncovered the ending of the celebrity edition to keep whatever they believe they know to themselves," the statement said.
