Educator Slain and 25 Girls Abducted in Armed Clash at Nigerian School
Weapon-carrying attackers have killed a teacher and seized a minimum of 25 learners in an raid targeting a female high school in the northwestern part of Nigeria, according to police.
The armed faction breached the public educational institution for female students in the Maga locality within Kebbi State at around 4 AM local time on Monday, officials stated.
The attackers "exchanged fire with security forces on duty in a firefight" before scaling the perimeter fence and abducting the learners from their living quarters, according to a statement.
