Across the fiercely competitive world of gaming, it's typical for fresh competitors to disappear as rapidly as they burst on to the scene.
Yet the latest Battlefield is striving to shift that dynamic.
It's the most recent addition in a long-running combat FPS franchise often framed as a grittier response to its main competitor.
The franchise has not quite managed to match its top rival in aspects of revenue or gamers, but evidence points to the recent entry could close the gap.
A trial event allowing users a shot to experience the game in recent months set new benchmarks, and the buzz heading into its debut has been massive.
But the undertaking is nonetheless a big risk for developer the gaming giant, which has according to sources invested hundreds of millions of dollars developing it.
We have communicated to several the makers to learn how they aim it will be profitable.
Production Team and Company Partnership
Four teams are working on the project under the Battlefield Studios banner.

"This whole method has been a fresh take but also very thrilling because we are working with team members from around the globe."
Concerning the pressure on the crew, he says: "We feel demand but additionally it's motivating.
"This is a major undertaking. It's probably the most significant that many of us have before been involved in."
New Artist Adds Fresh View
