Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The influential game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
